What duties do our Warehouse employees do at IES Communications' Alabama Branches?

In our Alabama branches, we're proud to have a dedicated team that ensures the smooth operation of our fabrication warehouse and material management. Our Fabrication Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing P&L, managing staffing needs, developing internal orders for safety, quality, tooling, and coordinating with Operation teams to meet installation demands through effective VDC programs and Gantt chart scheduling. They are instrumental in forecasting Capex for tooling needs and creating national logistical delivery plans. On the ground, our Materials Operation Specialist and Warehouse Assistant work tirelessly to maintain inventory accuracy, packaging, labeling, and ensuring materials are handled correctly—whether it's through receiving, shipping, stocking, or conducting cycle-counts. They uphold our commitment to quality and efficiency, operating within 5S and Lean principles, and handling tasks from operating forklifts to maintaining our IES facility tracking. Together, these roles embody our dedication to excellence and operational integrity across our Alabama operations.
