What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' Cave Creek Branch?

At our Cave Creek branch, our Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technician play pivotal roles in ensuring the seamless execution of projects. These dedicated team members are skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit using a variety of tools including rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and dual trigger bandsaws. They take pride in building closets, mounting and installing backboards, and ensuring proper grounding for racks, equipment, and cables as required. Our technicians are adept at observing installed equipment to identify any potential hazards or needs for adjustments, showcasing their ability to fabricate and install various types of conduits and raceway systems. Leadership within these roles involves assuming responsibility for crew performance, providing necessary training, coordinating personnel, and managing timelines to meet project goals. They diligently complete all IES paperwork on time and adhere to strict quality and safety standards. The Lead Infrastructure Technician, in particular, runs major project crews, ensures adherence to safety and quality guidelines, coordinates with Project Managers for productivity and compliance, performs quality checks, and serves as the primary contact for on-site customer queries.
