What will you do as a Service Technician at our IES Communications' Cave Creek Branch?
As our employees in Cave Creek, the Lead Service Technician assumes responsibility for effective performance and provides necessary training. They also ensure adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and hold weekly safety meetings. The Lead Service Technician initiates performance-related communications and escalates to the Project Manager if necessary. They install work area outlets, terminate CAT 3 & CAT 5 jacks, mount face plates and surface mount boxes correctly, and adhere to IES COMMERCIAL labeling standards. Additionally, they build closets, install grounding for racks and equipment, complete all IDC connections, and perform testing on cables. The Lead Service Technician troubleshoots fiber and copper cabling, completes all IES COMMUNICATIONS paperwork accurately and on time, and adheres to all quality and safety standards. The Services Technician, on the other hand, performs similar duties as the Lead Service Technician, including installing work area outlets, building closets, completing IDC connections, and performing testing on cables. Both positions may have additional responsibilities as assigned.
