What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' Litchfield Park Branch?
In our Litchfield Park branch, we take pride in the meticulous and comprehensive roles of our Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technician. Our team members are skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit with a variety of tools, including rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and dual trigger bandsaws. They excel in building infrastructure such as closets, mounting and installing backboards, and ensuring proper grounding for racks, equipment, and cables. Observing installed systems to identify any hazards or necessary adjustments is a critical part of their role, alongside fabricating and installing various types of conduits and raceway and cable tray systems. Their responsibilities extend to leading crews effectively, providing training, coordinating personnel, adhering to quality and safety standards, and completing all paperwork accurately and on time. The Lead Infrastructure Technician, in particular, runs major project crews, ensures adherence to safety and quality guidelines, coordinates with Project Managers for productivity and compliance with project budgets, performs quality checks, serves as the main customer contact, and troubleshoots technical issues, demonstrating an exceptional level of technical knowledge and leadership.
