What will you do as a Project Coordinator at our IES Communications' Mesa Branch?

The Project Coordinator in our branch in Mesa is responsible for effectively cooperating and communicating with the Project Manager and other team members. They are in charge of preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring weekly updates, as well as managing workload distribution and monitoring customer delivery and job installation progress. The Project Coordinator also reviews and uploads test results with the Testing Administrator on a daily basis, and ensures that drawings and room measurements are accurate for generating complete as-builds. They handle various project engineering tasks related to schedule maintenance, subcontractor coordination, and schedule updates. Additionally, the Project Coordinator works closely with Project Management and Leads/Superintendents to create and maintain a calendar for project implementation to completion. They must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality. Other responsibilities include assisting the program accounting department with spot checking labor, material, other-expenses, and subcontractor costs, analyzing cost and resource graphs to verify schedule progress or identify issues, and tracking program level billing, reporting, and metrics. Proficiency in creating and revising complex Excel spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs is required. The Project Coordinator also performs reporting audits for accuracy and overall delivery, maintains program level dashboards and data collection, and provides all necessary elements to the Project Manager for issuing weekly/monthly reports. They may also be assigned periodic changes of duties and assist in project closeout.
