What duties do our Virtual Design and Construction employees do at our IES Communications' Phoenix Branch?
Our branch in Phoenix is currently seeking employees for various virtual design and construction roles. The Director of Virtual Design and Construction will be responsible for developing processes, infrastructure, and teams to manage the use of virtual design and construction models for construction projects. They will oversee the organization and preparation of models for use in quantity takeoffs and coordinate BIM instructions with preconstruction and operations teams. The Virtual Design and Construction Field Detailer will interface with field construction personnel to coordinate installation using Navisworks and create red-lined/as-built drawings. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager will recruit, train, manage, and supervise direct reports, as well as manage workload distribution and stay up to date with developing technologies. The Virtual Design and Construction Project Coordinator will cooperate and communicate effectively with management and team members, schedule and monitor updates, and track drawing and close-out progress for multiple projects.
