Our branch in Surprise employs a team of virtual design and construction professionals responsible for managing the use of virtual design and construction models for all construction projects. The Director of Virtual Design and Construction oversees the organization and preparation of models for use in quantity takeoffs and coordinates building information modeling instructions with preconstruction and operations teams. The Virtual Design and Construction Field Detailer interfaces with field construction personnel to coordinate installation with VDC using Navisworks and creates red-lined/as-built drawings according to field conditions. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager recruits, hires, trains, and manages the VDC team, develops VDC standards and best practices, and conducts quality checks on VDC projects. The Virtual Design and Construction Project Coordinator cooperates and communicates effectively with management and other team members, manages workload distribution, and tracks program level tracking, reporting, and metrics.
