What will you do as a Security Systems Field Engineer at our IES Communications' Tempe Branch?
Our branch in Tempe is currently looking for a Security Systems Field Engineer who will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems in a senior service support position. This individual will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting system components and functions, as well as verifying connections, labels, installation, and work quality in the field. They must have a strong understanding of advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals, and be capable of creating shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-offs. With minimal supervision, the Field Engineer will manage the technical work both in-house and in the field, providing support to field staff and project managers throughout the project installation process. Additionally, they will oversee the technical aspects of projects, perform quality checks, test equipment and functionality, and create punch lists. The Field Engineer will also assist the sales staff with product and system demonstrations and handle any other assigned responsibilities.
