What will you do as a Staff Accountant at our IES Communications' Tucson Branch?
Our branch in Tucson is currently seeking a Senior Staff Accountant and a Staff Accountant. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and the company's policies and procedures, as well as preparing journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts. They will also establish accounting control procedures for fixed assets and leases. The Staff Accountant will assist with journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting, as well as maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations and performing ad hoc analysis. Both positions require strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
