What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Irvine Branch?
As our employees in Irvine, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the P&L, forecasting and managing staffing needs, and developing and managing internal orders, safety, quality, and tooling needs of the warehouse. They also need to coordinate deliverables with Operation teams, develop a VDC (CAD/BIM) program, manage installation schedules, and create and maintain tooling and inventory management. Additionally, they are responsible for developing an effective national logistical delivery plan and carrying out other assigned responsibilities. The Materials Operation Specialist is responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials, and conducting cycle-counts of inventory. They will also enter material into the IES Inventory database, maintain warehouse quality, and operate forklifts and company vehicles. The Warehouse Assistant will assist with packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, completing daily activities, conducting cycle-counts, entering material into the IES Inventory database, and maintaining warehouse quality. They may also operate forklifts and company vehicles and work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
