What will you do as a Controls Technician at our IES Communications' Los Angeles Branch?
In our Los Angeles branch, our Controls Technician Level II team members are integral to our operations, focusing on the meticulous installation and termination of low voltage cabling, interpreting various technical documents such as prints, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications for accurate execution, and expertly installing control panels, controllers, and bending conduit ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 inch. Meanwhile, our Senior Lead Controls Technicians play a pivotal leadership role by overseeing recruitment, training, and management of project staff, ensuring all human resource matters align with company policies while fostering an environment conducive to meeting both customer and organizational goals. They are responsible for maintaining project profitability, scheduling technicians efficiently, managing workload distribution, ensuring compliance with budgets and deadlines, conducting quality checks, serving as the primary liaison with customers, and actively promoting safety standards within the team, embodying our commitment to excellence and operational efficiency in every task they undertake.
