What will you do as a Purchasing Specialist at our IES Communications' Sacramento Branch?
Our branch in Sacramento is currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist who will be responsible for entering purchasing information into the accounting system, ensuring accurate GL codes and project numbers are assigned. They will also be in charge of ordering and accounting for materials used on job sites, as well as researching and resolving invoice and purchase order discrepancies. Additionally, the Purchasing Specialist will prepare purchase orders, enter inventory and material transfers into the accounting system, and self-manage their assigned workload distribution. They will also be responsible for creating and implementing project process improvements and serving as a backup for the front desk.
