At IES, our Sales Operations Support Specialist and Sales Support Specialist roles in California are pivotal to maintaining the seamless operation and integrity of our sales processes. The Sales Operations Support Specialist is tasked with handling incoming webmail warranty requests, processing these warranties on manufacturer websites, and ensuring all documents are meticulously saved in the IES drive. This role demands a deep understanding of various manufacturer warranty registration processes and procedures, proficiency in Commscope OIP, and an ability to self-manage workload distribution efficiently. Additionally, they play a crucial role in monitoring updates from manufacturers and vendors, managing rebate dollars and coupon management, and providing essential support to our Tempe branch through labeling services and assistance with customer submittal requests and O&M manuals.

On the other hand, our Sales Support Specialist focuses on the administrative backbone of our sales operations, including completing and submitting pre-qualification statements, organizing Prequal Folders, and setting up new vendor/customer/subcontractor relationships. They assist our sales team with RFPs/RFQs, maintain accurate contractor license records per state, and ensure that all proposal bid documents are current and adhere to our brand guidelines. Their expertise extends to creating compelling PowerPoint presentations and enforcing company policies, SOPs, and job safety requirements, underscoring their integral role in supporting our sales infrastructure across California.
