What duties do our Helpdesk employees do at our IES Communications' San Diego Branch?

At our San Diego branch, our dedicated Helpdesk Administrators and Lead Helpdesk Administrator play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of IES's IT infrastructure. They are tasked with setting up and maintaining basic network operations, assembling network hardware, and providing comprehensive support to ensure all devices, including Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, HP printers, and various copiers, operate efficiently. Our team offers first and second level telephone support, resolves technical issues, installs necessary software and hardware, and ensures the security and accessibility of network resources for all employees. They also monitor system backups, maintain accurate inventory records, and occasionally travel to support remote sites, demonstrating their commitment to improving support processes and ensuring the reliability of our company’s phone systems and computers.
