What will you do as a Safety Trainer at our IES Communications' San Diego Branch?
As Safety Trainers and Program Coordinators at IES in San Diego, our duties include fully supporting all safety policies, procedures, programs, and federal and state standards. We maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards, ensuring implementation and compliance with IES Safety policies. We develop and provide trade-related safety training in the classroom, conduct training classes using various methods, administer exams, and evaluate trainees' performance. We also conduct safety audits, identify potential hazards, and develop action plans to correct non-compliance issues. Additionally, we deliver and coordinate safety training for management and field personnel, prepare reports and summaries, and mentor stakeholders to uphold the IES Safety Culture. We work with the training team to design and implement new programs and complete other assigned duties.
