What duties do our Virtual Design and Construction employees do at our IES Communications' San Diego Branch?
Our San Diego branch is currently seeking professionals for various Virtual Design and Construction roles. The Director of Virtual Design and Construction will be responsible for managing the use of Virtual Design & Construction models for all construction projects, overseeing the organization and preparation of models for use in quantity takeoffs, and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) Instructions with preconstruction and operations teams. The Virtual Design and Construction Field Detailer will interface with field construction personnel to coordinate installation with VDC, communicate installation progress, and audit installation to ensure accuracy. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager will recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, and promote all direct reports, manage workload distribution, and develop VDC standards and implementation. The Virtual Design and Construction Project Coordinator will cooperate and communicate effectively with management and other team members, manage workload distribution, and oversee and track drawing and close-out progress for multiple projects.
