What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' San Francisco Branch?

At our San Francisco branch, we take pride in the dedicated roles of our Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technician. Our team members are skilled craftsmen who measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit with precision, using a variety of tools including rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and dual trigger bandsaws. They're not just technicians; they build infrastructure from the ground up, creating closets, mounting backboards, installing grounding for racks, equipment, and cables as required, and ensuring that every installation meets the highest standards of quality and safety. With abilities ranging from fabricating and installing rigid & aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond, and P.V.C. conduit to assuming responsibility for the effective performance of their crews, our technicians provide necessary training and coordinate personnel and timelines to complete projects efficiently. The Lead Infrastructure Technician takes this role further by running major project crews, ensuring adherence to company and customer safety guidelines, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure productivity and compliance with project budgets, and serving as the main on-site contact for any questions or concerns.
