What will you do as a Travel Manager at our IES Communications' San Jose Branch?

The Travel Manager in our San Jose branch is responsible for hiring, training, managing, supervising, promoting, disciplining, and discharging travel related staff. They also complete recommendations for travel department employees' performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes. The Travel Manager updates relevant travel policies, negotiates vendor pricing, and assists in arranging company sponsored events. They ensure accurate expense reporting, assist Travel Coordinators with making travel arrangements, and maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit. Additionally, they handle issues in the best interest of both customers and the company, maintain travel records, and facilitate smooth travel for clients. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
