What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' Aurora Branch?

At our Aurora branch, our dedicated team includes Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technicians who are the backbone of our operations. Our Infrastructure Technicians skillfully measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using an array of tools, build infrastructure closets, ensure proper grounding for equipment, and observe installed systems to maintain safety and efficiency. They're also adept at fabricating and installing various conduits and raceway systems, taking charge of project crews when necessary, and diligently completing all required paperwork in alignment with company and industry standards. Elevating their role, our Level II Technicians bring additional expertise in these areas, assuming greater responsibility for crew performance and project coordination. Leading the pack, our Lead Infrastructure Technician not only manages major project crews but also ensures adherence to safety and quality guidelines, coordinates closely with Project Managers for optimal productivity and budget compliance, performs quality checks, and serves as the primary contact for on-site customer queries. Across all levels, our team embodies a commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction that sets us apart in the Aurora community.
