What will you do as a Technical Manager at our IES Communications' Colorado Springs Branch?
Our branch in Colorado Springs is currently seeking a Technical Manager who will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of technical experts, including Field Engineers, Technicians, and support staff. The Technical Manager will foster a collaborative work environment to maximize productivity and creativity. They will collaborate with Program Management to define the technical vision and strategy for the program and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. The Technical Manager will also allocate resources effectively across projects, keep up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends, and provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team. They will maintain project status reports, track critical project milestones, and ensure proper completion of commissioning. Additionally, the Technical Manager will develop a field staff training plan, continuously improve processes and tools, and coordinate communication with clients and stakeholders. Regular performance evaluations for team members will be conducted, providing feedback and recognizing achievements. Other responsibilities may be assigned as well.
