The Director of Virtual Design and Construction in Colorado Springs is responsible for developing processes, infrastructure, and teams to manage the use of Virtual Design & Construction models for construction projects. They oversee the preparation of models for use in quantity takeoffs, coordinate BIM instructions with preconstruction and operations teams, and manage the preparation of coordination drawings. The Virtual Design and Construction Field Detailer interfaces with field construction personnel to coordinate installation with VDC using Navisworks and/or shop drawings, audits installation to ensure accuracy, and maintains accurate records. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager recruits, hires, trains, manages, and supervises all direct reports, manages workload distribution, and develops VDC standards and implementation. The Virtual Design and Construction Project Coordinator cooperates and communicates effectively with management and other team members, manages workload distribution, and tracks and organizes customer job documentation packages.
