What will you do as a Low Voltage at our IES Communications' Denver Branch?

At our Denver branch, our Systems Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and implementation of low voltage systems by serving as a pivotal technical resource. This includes designing system support infrastructures, overseeing installations, conducting testing/certification processes, and coordinating with other IES disciplines to ensure comprehensive project oversight. They are tasked with developing design templates, standards, and guidelines to enhance departmental efficiency and accuracy, while also creating and evaluating product and shop drawings during pre-construction phases. Our engineer actively participates in sourcing bids, reviewing pricing from third-party suppliers, and providing unparalleled technical expertise to both our staff and field technicians. Their responsibilities extend to submitting timely RFI responses, performing quality assurance site reviews, liaising closely with Project Managers for optimal product delivery, and conducting detailed site walks to capture client specifications or recommend solutions across a variety of systems such as Network Infrastructure and Access Control. By collaborating with subject matter experts within IES and our extended network of partners and manufacturers, they ensure that our team is equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and best practices, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver high-quality installations and services.
