What will you do as an Estimator at one of IES Communications' Colorado Branches?

At our Colorado branches, we have a dynamic team of Estimators and Project Cost Estimator Interns working diligently to ensure the success of each project from conception to completion. Our Estimators are tasked with providing comprehensive project engineering, selecting appropriate materials, estimating labor costs, and developing detailed cost estimates in response to bid specifications. They play a crucial role as liaisons among sales, project management, and operations teams, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to budgetary constraints. Additionally, they're responsible for attending site-walks and pre-bid meetings, maintaining meticulous records of site conditions, and collaborating closely with vendors to secure optimal solutions and pricing. Our Lead Estimators take on a more strategic role by managing workflow within their teams, mentoring staff, and fostering continuous improvement processes within the department. They also hold accountability for project deliverables and financial performance while serving as technical leads and mentors. Across all levels, our estimators are committed to upholding our company's standards for quality and safety, meeting stringent bid schedules, and ensuring that every project aligns perfectly with client expectations and our company values.
