They possess a thorough understanding of both basic copper termination skills and advanced fiber optic connectivity, including installing work area outlets, building closets, grounding equipment, and completing all IDC connections with precision. Our technicians excel in testing and troubleshooting using state-of-the-art equipment like the OTDR and Fluke DTX 180, ensuring network integrity end to end. They’re skilled in all types of fiber cable splicing, from mechanical to fusion, and adept at calculating loss budgets according to TIA/EIA standards. The lead technicians bring additional value by managing major project crews, focusing on safety, quality adherence, and ensuring project success within budget. Together, they share a commitment to excellence, fully completing IES paperwork accurately and on time, which keeps our projects in Washington DC running smoothly and efficiently.
