Our branch in Washington is currently seeking a Junior Tester who will be responsible for documenting test cases, executing them, and reporting any identified issues. They will also verify fixes and maintain test documentation, working closely with the development team to identify defects and participate in the software development life cycle. Additionally, the Junior Tester will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development process and report departmental needs to management. They will troubleshoot and guide others on complex problems, coordinate new development activities, and oversee routine and special projects. The Junior Tester will also review test plans, participate in system testing activities, perform user acceptance testing, conduct training for stakeholders, and report any errors to the developers. Other responsibilities may be assigned as well.
