The Director of System Development in our Washington branch is responsible for overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. They devise and establish policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management, and analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. They also provide support for existing systems, identify the need for upgrades or new systems, and report to upper management. Additionally, they build a network of peers with knowledge of our ERP solution, maintain strong relationships with key leaders across the organization, and communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders regarding key project objectives to ensure buy-in. They also analyze performance results, observe and evaluate existing business processes, and provide support and training to users. Other responsibilities include development activities, project governance, monitoring projects for continuous improvement, and making policy recommendations in line with the Strategic IT plan and business requirements.
