In our Washington branch, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the warehouse. They forecast and manage staffing needs, develop and manage internal orders, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and forecast capital expenditures (Capex) for tooling needs. They coordinate with the Operation teams for deliverables and develop a CAD/BIM program to support installation needs. The manager also creates and maintains tooling and inventory management systems and develops a national logistical delivery plan. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The Materials Operation Specialist is responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory. They handle daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials. They conduct inventory cycle-counts and manage daily logs, as well as enter material into the inventory database. The specialist also maintains warehouse quality, tracks damaged inventory, and operates forklifts and company vehicles. They work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles and efficiently complete all assigned tasks. The Warehouse Assistant, also in our Washington branch, assists with packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory. They handle daily activities similar to the Materials Operation Specialist, including receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials. They also conduct inventory cycle-counts, manage daily logs, and maintain warehouse quality. The assistant may operate forklifts and company vehicles, adhering to 5S organization and Lean principles while efficiently completing tasks.
