What will you do as a Purchasing Specialist at our IES Communications' Atlanta Branch?
As our Purchasing Specialist in Atlanta, you will be responsible for entering purchasing information into our accounting system, ensuring accurate GL codes and project numbers are assigned, and ordering and accounting for materials used on job sites. You will also research and resolve Invoice/PO discrepancies, coordinate returns/credit memos, and assist with processing vendor returns by adjusting PO as required, as well as preparing purchase orders, entering inventory, material and labor transfers into our accounting system, self-managing assigned workload distribution, creating, developing, implementing and revising project process improvement(s), and serving as back-up for front desk, among other responsibilities as assigned.
