The Travel Manager in our Atlanta branch is responsible for hiring, training, managing, supervising, promoting, disciplining, and discharging travel-related staff. They provide guidance and mentoring to meet company goals and objectives, update travel policies, negotiate vendor pricing, and arrange company-sponsored events. The Travel Manager ensures accurate expense reporting, assists Travel Coordinators with making travel arrangements, maintains a balance between company policy and customer benefit, and handles issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company. They also ensure necessary approvals for driving company or rental vehicles, advise on the best travel plans, maintain travel records, and work with representatives from AMEX and Concur for efficient travel processes. Additionally, the Travel Manager facilitates smooth and easy client travel by providing various services and performs other assigned responsibilities.
