What will you do as a Security Systems Field Engineer at our IES Communications' Suwanee Branch?
As our Security Systems Field Engineers in Suwanee, our employees troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems in a senior service support role, including testing, troubleshooting of system components and functions, and field verification of connections, labels, installation, and work quality. They understand advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals, and are able to create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-off. They manage the technical work in the field with little supervision, work both "in house" and in the field when required, and assume ownership of project installation, giving support to field staff and project manager. They also assist with maintaining and completing project punch-lists for project closeouts, oversee the technical aspects of projects, perform quality-checks on the projects, test all equipment and functionality, and create punch lists. Additionally, they assist sales staff as needed with product and system demonstrations and handle other responsibilities as assigned.
