As the Superintendent in our branch in Altoona, your duties will include recruiting, hiring, training, managing, supervising, promoting, disciplining, and discharging project-related staff as necessary. You will effectively manage all human resource issues in accordance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and company goals and objectives, acting as the senior company liaison for operational interface with customer representatives. It will be your responsibility to plan, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability, ensuring deadlines are met and customer requirements are fulfilled. You will also oversee workload distribution, staffing levels, and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress. Successful job completion, productivity, and compliance to project budget will be managed by you, including reviewing job cost postings, preparing invoices, and conducting periodic financial reporting. Accurate and timely completion of all IES and project paperwork, such as timesheets, material transfers, and work orders, is essential. You will perform quality checks, prevent outages, and conduct day-to-day job walks to ensure quality, as well as act as the main on-site customer contact for questions and concerns. Attending facility and construction meetings when required is also part of your role. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, reviewing and monitoring operational processes for accuracy and efficiency, and implementing process improvements as needed are additional responsibilities. Safety promotion and leading operations meetings and training sessions will also fall under your purview, along with managing tools and truck inventory and maintenance. Finally, you will be expected to complete any other assigned responsibilities.
