Our branch in Altoona has openings for Junior System Administrators and System Administrators. As employees, Junior System Administrators are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. They also identify and resolve computer system malfunctions, perform diagnostics of system issues, and provide remote IT support. Hardware supported includes Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, Canon printers, various copiers, and Cisco network equipment. On the other hand, System Administrators ensure that company standards, policies, and procedures are followed. They install, configure, and maintain computers, networks, and related hardware and software, and assist Helpdesk Administrators in preparing devices for end users. They provide second and third level telephone support, diagnose network issues, and provide remote IT support. Hardware supported includes Lenovo servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, HP printers, various copiers, and various network equipment. Both positions provide technical support to users, assist in server maintenance, and have other assigned responsibilities.
