What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' Ankeny Branch?
At our Ankeny branch, the roles of Infrastructure Technician, Infrastructure Technician II, and Lead Infrastructure Technician are integral to our operations. These positions involve meticulous work with electrical conduits, including measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing, using a variety of tools such as rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and dual trigger bandsaws. Our technicians are responsible for building closets, mounting and installing backboards, installing grounding for racks, equipment, and cable, as well as fabricating and installing various types of conduits and raceway systems. They ensure the effective performance of their crews, adhere to quality and safety standards, complete all paperwork accurately and on time, and in the case of our Lead Infrastructure Technicians, also serve as the main on-site customer contact, demonstrating an advanced level of technical knowledge and leadership in managing major project crews and ensuring compliance with project budgets.
