Our branch in Cedar Rapids employs Junior System Administrators and System Administrators who are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. These employees identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and perform diagnostics of system and network issues. They also provide remote IT support using remote control software. Hardware supported includes servers from Dell, Cisco, and Lenovo, as well as desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and network equipment. Additionally, they provide technical support to users, participate in IT projects, and assist in server maintenance and IP-based telephony systems administration. Other responsibilities may be assigned as well.
