What will you do as a Software Tester at our IES Communications' Davenport Branch?
As our Junior Tester in Davenport, your duties will include documenting test cases, executing them, and reporting any identified issues. You will also be responsible for verifying fixes and maintaining test documentation, as well as working with the development team to identify defects and participating in the software development life cycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development process, identify departmental needs, and report to management as appropriate. You will also troubleshoot and guide others on a wide variety of complex problems, coordinate new development activities, and manage routine & special projects which may require oversight of other departments' work and coordination of a wide variety of functions. You will also oversee and provide guidance to peers and serve as a reference point for questions on a day-to-day basis, as well as report staff productivity on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, review test plans, participate in system testing activities as per QA processes, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), conduct training for stakeholders, and report to the developers if any error occurs.
