What will you do as a Purchasing Administrator at our IES Communications' Des Moines Branch?

In Des Moines, our branch is currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator who will be responsible for entering purchasing information into the accounting system. This includes ensuring accurate GL codes, project numbers, and sales tax percentages are assigned. The Purchasing Administrator will also verify proper approvals, prepare and submit orders to vendors, and receive order confirmations. They will validate whether materials are taxable and research and resolve any invoice or purchase order discrepancies. Additionally, they will coordinate returns and credit memos and assist with processing vendor returns by adjusting purchase orders as necessary. The Purchasing Administrator will self-manage their assigned workload and complete any other responsibilities as assigned.
