As a Technical Manager in Greensboro, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and guide a team of technical experts, including Field Engineers, Technicians, and other support staff to ensure cohesive teamwork and efficient project execution. You will collaborate with Program Management to define the technical vision and strategy for the program, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement for technology processes and tools. Additionally, you will be responsible for effectively allocating resources across projects to optimize productivity and achieve project milestones, as well as maintaining project status reports for program projects and reporting weekly to the Program Manager. You will also be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive test result management program in accordance with IES standards and the customer’s requirements, developing a field staff training plan, and continuously developing and improving processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Coordination of ongoing communication between clients, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to understand the requirements, communicate project progress, and to manage expectations will also be a key responsibility, as well as conducting regular performance evaluations for team members, providing feedback on areas of improvement, and recognizing outstanding achievements.
