They also review Lunch/Break Penalty Hours, project coding, labor hour allocation, and project coding compliance. They work closely with managers to ensure identified errors are corrected and promote a culture of adherence to Time and Attendance policies. Additionally, they maintain progress reports and provide recurring reporting to Company Leadership, while collaborating with multiple departments and team members to ensure program success. On the other hand, our Senior Payroll Specialist handles data entry for multi-state payroll for over 2500 employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. They are responsible for addressing employee and business partner queries related to HR, Finance, and Tax. They also handle off-cycle pay, special payments, adjustments, and reversals, as well as manual garnishment calculations and maintenance. Moreover, the Senior Payroll Specialist compiles and distributes Certified Payroll reporting, assists with monthly journal entries for payroll expense and accruals, and supports month-end analysis and adjusting journal entries. Both roles encompass additional responsibilities as assigned.
