At our branch in Rio Rancho, our employees in the Pre-Construction Compliance Specialist role are responsible for developing programs to continuously improve and track fade/gain in projects. They conduct research on estimates and projects with business case concerns, interviewing various personnel to create root cause analyses and recommend corrective solutions. They also provide project management on special projects that impact Pre-Construction processes and systems, and develop reporting metrics using custom-built tracking systems. Additionally, they conduct training needs assessments, deliver training classes, and evaluate the effectiveness of training. They work with other departments to improve business performance and assist auditing teams in identifying process improvements. The Pre-Construction Manager oversees the workflow in the estimating department, mentors and provides direction to estimators and designers, and works with the VP of Engineering to develop process improvements. They also recruit, train, and manage estimating staff, participate in department management meetings, and assist the sales department in project activities. They ensure that estimating work meets quality and safety standards, perform project post-mortems, and attend training sessions to stay updated on technical requirements. The Lead Designer manages the workflow within their design and estimating team, mentors and provides direction to team members, and collaborates with the VP of Pre-Construction and Pre-Construction Managers to improve processes. They supervise the quality and efficiency of their team, lead design projects from concept to completion, and provide technical support and leadership. They also recruit, train, and manage their team, participate in department meetings, and assist the sales department in project activities. They ensure that estimating work meets quality and safety standards, perform project post-mortems, and attend training sessions to stay updated on technical requirements.
