What will you do as a Safety Trainer at our IES Communications' Sparks Branch?
As a Safety Trainer in our branch in Sparks, your duties will include fully supporting all IES safety policies, procedures, programs, and federal and state standards. You will maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and ensure implementation of and compliance with IES Safety policies, procedures, and programs. Your responsibilities will also involve assisting with the development of and providing trade-related safety training in the classroom, including hands-on demonstrations, presentations, tests, and design exercises. Additionally, you will identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps, track and report on training outcomes, and deliver safety training for management and field personnel. You will be responsible for conducting needs-assessments, preparing reports and summaries, and mentoring all stakeholders to uphold the IES Safety Culture. As a Safety Trainer and Program Coordinator, you will also coordinate activities, develop safety action plans, and review applications related to the program.
