What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Sparks Branch?
As our employees in Sparks, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss of the warehouse, forecasting and managing staffing needs, and developing and managing internal orders, safety, quality, and tooling needs. They also coordinate deliverables with Operation teams, develop a VDC program that supports installation needs, manage schedules of installation, and create and maintain tooling and inventory management. Additionally, they develop an effective national logistical delivery plan and handle other assigned responsibilities. The Materials Operation Specialist properly packages, labels, and tags warehouse inventory, completes and logs daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, and issuing materials, and conducts cycle-counts of inventory. They also enter material into the IES Inventory database, load and unload goods and supplies, maintain warehouse quality, and operate forklifts and company vehicles. The Warehouse Assistant performs similar tasks as the Materials Operation Specialist, including packaging, labeling, and tagging inventory, completing daily activities, conducting cycle-counts, and maintaining warehouse quality. They may also operate forklifts and company vehicles, work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles, and efficiently carry out task assignments.
