What will you do as a Project Cost Analyst at our IES Communications' Cincinnati Branch?
As employees in Cincinnati, our Project Cost Analysts are responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and maintaining project profitability, ensuring accurate cost accounting and revenue recognition, preparing budget reports, and conducting financial forecasts. They also handle technical accounting issues, support month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborate with project personnel for required project reporting. Our Project Cost Analyst Managers not only perform all the duties of a PCA but also recruit, hire, train, manage, and supervise staff, complete recommendations for employee performance ratings, and provide guidance and mentoring. Additionally, our Project Cost Supervisors oversee the work of 1-2 PCAs, assist in creating and revising a standard job audit review process, lead review meetings, assist with training, implement underbilling reduction strategies, and ensure compliance with job cost, billing, and change orders.
