What will you do as a Purchasing Administrator at our IES Communications' Cincinnati Branch?
As employees of our company in Cincinnati, our Purchasing Administrators play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient purchasing processes. They are responsible for entering purchasing information into the accounting system, making sure that the correct GL codes, project numbers, and sales tax percentages are assigned. They also verify proper approvals according to the DOA (Delegation of Authority), prepare and submit orders to vendors, and receive order confirmations. Additionally, they validate whether materials are taxable and address any invoice or purchase order discrepancies by researching and resolving them. Our Purchasing Administrators also coordinate returns and credit memos and assist in processing vendor returns by adjusting purchase orders as necessary. They are self-managed and handle their assigned workload while also completing any other responsibilities as assigned.
