What will you do as a Security Systems Field Engineer at our IES Communications' Cincinnati Branch?
Our branch in Cincinnati is currently seeking a Security Systems Field Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems in a senior service support role, including testing, troubleshooting system components and functions, and verifying connections, labels, installation, and work quality. They will have a deep understanding of advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals, and will be able to create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-off. This role will require the ability to work both in-house and in the field, with little supervision, and assume ownership of project installation by providing advanced support to field staff and project managers. Additionally, the Security Systems Field Engineer will oversee the technical aspects of projects, perform quality checks, test equipment and functionality, create punch lists, and assist sales staff with product and system demonstrations, among other assigned responsibilities.
