What will you do as a Controls Technician at our IES Communications' Cleveland Branch?
In our Cleveland branch, the Controls Technician Level II and Senior Lead Controls Technician roles are pivotal to our operations. The Controls Tech II is hands-on with pulling, installing, and terminating low voltage cabling, adept at reading prints, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications, and skilled in installing control panels, controllers, and bending 1/2 inch to 1-inch conduit. On the other hand, our Senior Lead Controls Technician takes on a leadership role, overseeing recruitment, training, management, and supervision of project-related staff, ensuring all human resource issues align with company policies. This role is also responsible for maintaining project profitability, scheduling technicians, managing workload distribution, and ensuring job completion meets customer requirements and budget. They act as the senior liaison with customers, manage operational processes, promote safety, and implement process improvements, embodying our commitment to excellence and efficiency in every project we undertake in Cleveland.
