What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Cleveland Branch?
As our employees in Cleveland, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the warehouse, forecasting and managing staffing needs, developing and managing internal orders, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and forecasting capital expenditure (Capex) for tooling needs. They also coordinate deliverables with the Operation teams, develop a CAD/BIM program to support installation needs, manage installation schedules using Gantt charts, create and maintain tooling and inventory management systems, and develop an effective national logistical delivery plan. Other responsibilities may be assigned as well. The Materials Operation Specialist is responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, and issuing materials, conducting inventory cycle-counts, managing the daily log, and entering material into the IES Inventory database. They also load and unload goods and supplies, maintain warehouse quality, track damaged inventory, and operate forklifts and company vehicles in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
