What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Columbus Branch?
As our employees in Columbus, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss of the warehouse, forecasting and managing staffing needs, developing and managing internal orders, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, forecasting capital expenditures for tooling needs, coordinating deliverables with operation teams, developing a CAD/BIM program for installation needs, managing installation schedules, creating and maintaining tooling and inventory management, and developing a national logistical delivery plan, among other assigned responsibilities. The Materials Operation Specialist will properly package, label, and tag warehouse inventory, complete and log daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials, conduct cycle-counts of inventory, manage the daily log, enter material into the IES Inventory database, load and unload goods and supplies, maintain warehouse quality, and operate forklifts and company vehicles, while following 5S organization and Lean principles. The Warehouse Assistant will assist with packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, complete daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials, conduct cycle-counts of inventory, manage the daily log, enter material into the IES Inventory database, load and unload goods and supplies, maintain warehouse quality, and efficiently carry out assigned tasks, while also following 5S organization and Lean principles.
