What will you do as a Senior Database Administrator at our IES Communications' Eugene Branch?
As our employees in Eugene, our Senior Database Administrators work directly with end users to translate business requirements into functional applications, design and maintain SQL database systems, collaborate with developers to ensure system stability and high availability, and ensure database design meets customer and company needs by implementing indexes and ensuring data integrity. They act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s), create and implement process improvements, maintain backups and high availability of systems, provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users, enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards, perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity, monitor database performance and implement changes and updates as necessary, and provide audit support when required, in addition to other assigned responsibilities.
