What will you do as a System Administrator at our IES Communications' Portland Branch?
Our branch in Portland is currently seeking Junior System Administrators and System Administrators to join our IT team. Both roles involve installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. Responsibilities include providing first and second (Junior System Administrator) or second and third (System Administrator) level telephone support and problem resolution, identifying and resolving computer system malfunctions, and performing diagnostics of system and network issues. Both positions also involve providing remote IT support with remote control software, maintaining server and endpoint protection, backups, updates, and other maintenance, and participating in IT-related projects as necessary. Additionally, both roles require assisting with the administration and maintenance of IP-based telephony systems, such as provisioning handsets and supporting user requests, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. Hardware supported includes Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, Canon and HP printers, various copiers, and various network equipment.
