What will you do as an Infrastructure Technician at our IES Communications' Austin Branch?
In our Austin branch, we take immense pride in our dedicated team of Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technicians. Our Infrastructure Technicians are skilled craftsmen who measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit with precision, utilizing a variety of tools including rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and dual trigger bandsaws. They're responsible for building closets, mounting and installing backboards, ensuring proper grounding for racks, equipment, and cable, as well as fabricating and installing various types of conduits and raceway systems. Moving up the ranks, our Level II Technicians bring an added layer of expertise, taking on more complex installations and providing leadership within project teams. At the pinnacle, our Lead Infrastructure Technicians oversee major projects from start to finish, ensuring not only the technical excellence of installations but also adhering strictly to safety and quality standards, managing crews effectively, and serving as the primary contact for our clients on-site. Across all levels, our team in Austin embodies our commitment to delivering top-notch infrastructure solutions, maintaining rigorous attention to detail, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
